General Business Major

The courses suggested by the College of Business for fulfillment of the University Core Curriculum are included in this plan. The General Business major is ideal for students who are interested in gaining a breadth of business knowledge.

Current Students

Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students in the College of Business may apply for admission to the Cybersecurity program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of six hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree . Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Master of Business Administration program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree .

Missouri State University

A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration General Business Major. The selection of one of two tracks is also required and students must complete 33 credit hours of 300 or 400 level courses to satisfy the General Business Major required electives. The Online Track provides a flexible, online business education experience which supports full-time or part-time working professionals.

Faculty members are also experienced practitioners and consultants for various businesses and organizations. Through the Eastin Center, Spears Business supports our students’ professional filepapa growth from awareness, to acquisition of knowledge, to practice and feedback, and ultimately successful implementation. Our graduates accept jobs such as management trainees, entry-level positions, business owners, assistant administrators, assistant managers, and customer service representatives. Drexel Women in Business strives to provide its members with resources and opportunities to succeed in business, with a focus on the female professional.

The college experience wouldn't be complete without UHD's state-of-the-art recreation center, club teams and intramural sports. All of which allow students to stay in shape, show off their UHD Gator spirit, bond through teamwork and just plain have some fun. With course options in economics, data analytics, finance and professional development, you will receive all the tools you need to successfully navigate your future. At UNT’s G. Brint Ryan College of Business, you will be provided with the background needed to make confident, successful decisions in today’s competitive marketplace. You will gain a general understanding of the foundations of accounting, business information systems, finance, management and marketing through a comprehensive curriculum.
